This shot was one in a million and one for which I'm very grateful for zone-focus. I saw the dove take flight out of the corner of my eye and just sort of pointed the camera towards it from where it was hanging on the end of its strap. Thankfully the camera was already powered on and I got the horizon almost straight (fixed in post).
